Mary Lynn & Dan Brant
Mary Lynn and Dan Brant live on a small hobby farm in Shannonville, Ontario. Their business, LynnieQ started in 2017. They were very interested in creating something that would help reduce the use of plastic and waste in landfill sites. LynnieQ uses locally sourced beeswax.
Reusable Bags
The materials are cotton, beeswax, food-grade pine resin & jojobo oil. Each piece is hand cut, hand sewn and beeswaxed individually. Beeswax, food-grade pine resin and jojoba oil is applied to the cotton to make the finished product. May be irregular sizes because they are cut by hand. The beeswax wraps, pockets or bags can be used where you would use plastic, except for raw meat or hot items. The wrap is warmed by your hands to create a seal. They are re-usable and eco-friendly and when you have to dispose of them they can be cut up and recycled or are bio-degradable. We have sold products at local markets, Seedy Saturdays, craft sales and have customers contact us by email.
Multi-Use
Each bag is handmade with 100% cotton, locally sourced beeswax, food-grade pine resin & jojoba oil. May last up to 1 year with proper care. To clean, just run under tap, cool water, and hang to dry. Can wipe gently with a cloth and mild soap, if needed. Can be folded or rolled up to store in a drawer/basket or cabinet. This beeswax product is anti-bacterial, biodegradable, compostable and recyclable. DO NOT: wrap raw meat or fish in this product or place it in the microwave or stove. Any type of heat will ruin your beeswax product. Contact artists for sizes, fabric options and prices.
